Phish-a.. what?
The Phishathon is a one-of-a-kind phishing hackathon where students and professionals in IT or cybersecurity compete in (ethical) phishing.
Expect realistic challenges, clever opponents and a relaxed closing session with drinks and snacks.
Test your skills
During the Phishathon, participants face off in three challenges with each being a chance to outsmart, outwit and out-phish eachother. Points pile up along the way with only one phisher reeling in the big prize.
Base spearphishing emails on a company persona and aim for the most interactions.
Using supplied tools, produce a voice and/or video deepfake of a public figure. Present it to the jury and aim for maximum realism, technical skill and effectiveness.
At the event you’ll receive the name of a public figure. Create a targeted spear‑phishing email using public sources and present it to our expert jury.

Last year's edition was organised together with Cronos Security and UZ Leuven, and challenged participants in spear phishing, AI and vishing challenges.
Practicals
This year’s edition will be held at Outkept headquarters in Ghent, centrally located and easily accessible by train.
